What exactly is Mental Health

First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a specialized program designed to empower individuals with the skills to identify and respond effectively to signs of mental health issues. It's like a crash course in providing initial support for those facing mental health challenges, akin to offering first aid for physical injuries. MHFA equips participants with the tools to offer immediate assistance and guide individuals toward appropriate professional help when necessary.

  • 50% of survey respondents indicate that work affected their mental health, with 35% experiencing burnout (Future Skills Centre Report 2023).
